Christopher Walken for President

A website is already up

He's got my vote.

That's awesome, if he's serious. We don't need the presidential election process to become more of a circus.

I see he running as a independent, but is he running as a liberal, moderate, or conservative? As a independent he would get my vote before either a Dem or a Reb.

He for Campaign Finance Reform: Nice. but that will happen some time after pigs learn to fly.

He is for Stem Cell Research: Nice but right now that look like it going to happen even if Bush get a 3rd term( yes I know about 2 term limits).

he is for educational: Good. but in what ways?

Military Funding: Seem wishy washy, is he going to cut it or raise it?

I am more conservative, then liberal. I just don't like or trust Government. Government always lack reason and compassion. Our government got way to many laws. Many of which are unfair to the poor. I am not close the borders isolationist, and I understand we need economic relations with other countries. That said we should keep our noise out of other people business. We wast way to much on the military, and as far as the UN goes the only thing we should be doing in the UN is to using our Veto. I have not seen the UN do any good yet. It is a evil and corrupt organization.

Dues he have any ideals yet, besides running?

I will take him over Hillary. I'll wait for the debates before I decide if I'll take him over McCain. If he selects Dennis Hopper as his running mate I'll work on his campaign.

Am I high?

This is clearly a joke... how hard is it to set up a website? And if Walken was that interested in politics he'd run for lower positions than President on his first campaign...

The fact that many laws are unfair to the poor has nothing to do with the idea that there are too many laws (which is not a logical way of analyzing government. How many laws does it take to make a good government for every citizen?) You can't say you don't like or trust government. You like the laws that allow you to do what you want to do. What is it that you want to do that the government prevents you from doing?

To what extent should we keep our nose out of other people's business? Did you support the invasion and occupation of Iraq? Did you accept that it was an acceptable next step after our invasion of Afghanistan? Isolationism lead to the death of millions of Jews in WWII and the Pearl Harbor attack. We need to learn how to play fair with our allies and to remain strong against our enemies. We should have been dealing with North Korea and Iran instead of pissing away our resources and goodwill among our longtime allies in Iraq.

I agree and disagree. We are wasting too much money in our Iraq effort. But, before 9/11 our military spending was at a reasonable level, inherited from the Clinton Administration. If we had captured Bin Laden when we had the chance and not started the war in Iraq, our military spending should have still been justifiable, even for ramped up security and new enlistment efforts.

What do you base this opinion on? Some level of corruption would not be surprising, but the entire organization is "evil and corrupt"? I can't see you backing up that assumption. John Bolton will definitely be vetoing as much as he can, because he's a conservative pawn and conservatives hate the UN in general without giving reasons. Just like you did.

Fuck. Yeah.

Moving to Humor, as this is perhaps the most obvious hoax in history. Doesn't the fact that the only pictures are film stills tip anyone off?

Reagan did it, and he never played an archangel or a mobster.

"Our great country is in a terrible downward spiral. We're outsourcing jobs, bankrupting social security, and losing lives at war. We need to focus on what's important-- paying attention to our children, our citizens, our future. We need to think about improving our failing educational system, making better use of our resources, and helping to promote a stable, safe, and tolerant global society. It's time to be smart about our politics. It's time to get America back on track."
Just read this like Walken would say it. Fantastic comedy.

I love how they've managed to get on a server that barely moves along. Usually have to click on links three or four times before you successfully get through.
