Don't bother. No, really, 'cos they didn't.

You could tell by the poster alone.

Why is it spelled "Contagium," anyway? Is there a pun I'm missing?

If there is, the film-makers were unaware of it. It's actually mentioned in the movie. Oh, and the film makes the poster look classy. That and the fact that they cut off the end 'cos it was so ludicrous. So the film doesn't actually have an end. Just so's you know.

It's a proper word:

con·ta·gium Audio pronunciation of "Contagium" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kn-tjm)
n. pl. con·ta·gia (-j)

The causative agent of a communicable disease; contagion.

BTW, there are zombies in the first and last ten minutes. Elsewhere - nada.

And they can talk.
I have no interest in talking zombies.

Unless they speak Jive.

Or they talk like Barry White...

This is some shocking news. Next you'll tell me Dead And Breakfast sucks too.

Actually, D&B looks interesting. I'd be down for watching it.

D&B is silly, but pretty damn fun.
Yeah...I have not yet gotten my hands on Dead and Breakfast and but the guys over at Dread Central flipped pretty hardcore for it so I figure it is at least worth a watch.
I thought Dead & Breakfast was a lot better/funnier than Shaun of the Dead. It was kind of in the league of I Was A Teenaged Zombie

I don’t care how bad it is, if it’s a zombie movie I’ll watch it, if contagium ever gets released I’ll see it.

These guys sit around discussing the finer points of institutionalisation. Because they're actually mental patients. Seriously, institutionalised, slightly autistic mental patients.

And one of them reads a philiosophical tome about love.

My favourite thing to bring up about the picture is that the screenwriter seems to think the word "statutory" means "statue like" and describes a girl thus.

Everyday does have its beginning. It's called Dawn.

This statement makes me incredibly sad.

I just thought Shaun of the Dead was not as funny or clever as it thought it was. I prefer Benny Hill in terms of British humours. Dead & Breakfast is low down fun by comparison. just my 2 cents. I'm sure RetarDead will be better than either of them if it ever comes out

Bennie Hill was an excellent crooner! He was the British Frank Sinatra!

His work in The Italian Job was seminal.
For me his career zenith was the Genesis video for the 1986 hit, "Everything She Does".

They might as well stamp "Piece Of Shit Ripoff" all over the box and be honest about it.
THis is the kind of thing that gives Horror movies a bad name.
Too bad Romero can' t take these bastards to court.

I finally saw Contagium and I must say I think it is very entertaining. maybe it's just that I find retards funny and enjoy zombies, so putting them together is a big plus in my book. I loved the gore in this one too, vicious reds--yeah it's not wall to wall, but still. The acting skills on display were interesting to me as well. I personally could care less that it's called Day of the Dead 2... that's capitalism yall. You don't like it, quite voting Republican. Strikes me that John Russo should be angrier than Romero, they only used Romero's movie title (which BTW he did not even come up with "of the living dead," that was slapped on by random distributors, hence his lack of copyright for NOTLD), whereas they ran with Russo's "lost govt containers of zombie juice" from the Return series. anyway, I digged it. it's nowhere near as bad as Children of the Living Dead, and certainly on par/gorier/funnier than I Was A Teenaged Zombie
