Even though you guys don't have a newbie forum, I thought it would be polite to introduce myself before i started posting...

I live in a DC suburb, graduated from college about a year ago and am now working for a small PR/Marketing firm specalizing in Entertainment (specifically - a number of major film studios, Buena Vista Home Entertainment and a handful of small cable networks). I also bartend part time (hate the job, love the money), watch a lot of movies, surf when i can get away from the DC area, go to a lot of concerts for obscure indie acts and drink a lot of beer....

CHUD is the best place on Earth (ok, not entirely true...but maybe second to the midsection of Scarlett Johansson's bosoms).

Job's pretty cool...i don't mind going to work most days. However, I think we just finished our last round of hiring. I get to see free movies, but that's about as far as the fringe benefits go.
