Nick Nunziata - Remember the old Porsche 914? What a piece of danger. Yesterday was a much needed escape day with Lewis (of RON infamy). We got the next three weeks of The Dark Him written and it's really really fun stuff. I think folks will like him. We also did a lot of outdoor stuff and in the span of one two hour bike ride we met a really cool snake, saw a bunch of deer, a freeze-dried frog, a skeletal squirrel, and were attacked by a cylinder that fell from a truck. Then I went back to the grind of writing Chaos Blooms (which is kicking my ass), putting together notes for a feature I'm producing with one of the MEG folks, and watching the Braves not hit the ball. Today is more of the same, though I think I might have to pick up Burnout Revenge for the XBOX. Oh, and my Tuesday Best Buy haul? NOTHING. I picked up no DVD releases, though I ordered the GOOD Alone in the Dark from Amazon. Is it me or are DVDs having to have to work harder and harder to earn a purchase?

4-Disc Ben-Hur isn't good enough to pick up?

Jason P Thompson - Busy day today. Have a number of print advertisements to put together for our basketball schedule handbook and the boss is making me search for a piece of software that will remind people to do their jobs with pop up reminders... ridiculous.

Fiance works tonight... will probably catch up with the TiVo recordings from last night and continue on a book for review.

Mike Arsenault - 14 Sept 05:

Getting back into the groove at work. Having fun sharing this with people. Going to watch the special features on the Hitchhikers DVD this evening. Also going to watch GAME OVER: Kasparov and the Machine this evening, FOR THE AWESOME MIND-BLOWING CHESS GEEK ACTION!

Rich Straceski - Just another day here. Though I am going to be heading off to Queens tonight to visit my grandmother. I'm also hoping to get to bed a bit earlier than I have been lately, but we'll see what happens there when the tiome comes. I'm a little bummed too because I got an e-mail to attend a screening today (from some CinemaSource thing I signed up for a ways back) It's cool but sometimes the stuff is really short notice. Today I got one for A History of Violence at 5:00 and Cronenberg will be there too, along with Josh Olsen, the writer. I'd have to leave early from work to get there early enough to make sure I could get in and it would mess with my other plans for later too. Oh well. Still pondering and considering it though... It would be sometihng new for me though, that's for sure.

Found out a short while ago we get to go home Friday to the New Orleans suburb of Kenner.

That is my sound off for the day. My family gets to go home and it looks like we suffered little to no damage on our place.

Went to a luncheon with members of the US Naval Academy Class of 1942. These guys were awesome.

Got tapped to ghostwrite CEO's book. Working title: Why I'm So Fucking Rich.

Thor 09-14-05: The boss picked a good week to take a vacation. Anyone out there still want to see March of the Penguins ? Got a seat for you right here.

Up late last night helping shoot an amateur video project. Could turn out nice.

Meeting with the folks Saturday for a three-weeks-late birthday party, 'cause that's how my people do things.

Yippee, my company filed for bankruptcy today. You may have seen the news stories on CNN. We’re still flying and it shouldn’t have much, if any, effect on the public. Work is trundling along. The crisis of the week is 737 floor beams. I’m moved into my fancy pants lead’s cube. It is complete with higher walls and a door. The plan for this weekend was to fly to Seattle to see family, but the flights are full, so we may end up staying here and enjoying Atlanta late summer weather.

Haven't done one of these in a while so a bit out of the loop

I have obtained an old printer hub which with the aid of various lengths of cat 5 cable I have sucessfully networked all 4 xbox's that myself and my housemates own. Network gaming is indeed as fun as I have been lead to believe.

Work is same old same old, still looking around for something better (or trying to decide what it is I actually want to do). We have a morale meeting this afternoon so that should be fun.

For a while they thought i had heart problems, my blood pressure is 20 points below normal. So cue a series of test which all came back ok (Including an ecg which always looked cool on tv but is in fact pretty dull). Turns out there is nothing wrong with me I just have a very low stress level, which is kinda cool.

Yeah, but will it have any effect on you?
