Wedding Crashers -- Uncorked!

Looks like a pretty stacked DVD for Wedding Crashers has just been announced:

Quote:
An audio commentary from stars Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, a second commentary from director David Dobkin, deleted scenes, a Crash Course in Wedding Crashing featurette, an Event Planning featurette, a music video (The Sights' "Circus"), an interactive soundtrack promo, trailers, and a Wedding Crashing game. The 'Uncorked' edition will include all of that, along with an extra nine minutes of footage, the infamous “99 Red Balloons” scene, and test audience reaction to specific scenes.
A Test Audience reaction track sounds like a great idea: this is one of the few movies I've seen in a packed theater where the laughter would drown out the next five lines. The featurettes sound like crap, but two commentaries, deleted scenes and unrated footage sound good enough.

Sounds like a lot of fluff.

The Wilson/Vaughn commentary should be golden. Other than that you're right, the rest is probably fairly disposable.

Don't forget the deleted scene where Wilson and Vaughn sing "99 Red Balloons" in German at a Chinese wedding.

I wonder how much people get paid to photoshop a wine bottle in Vince Vaughn's hand.

Looking forward to the Wilson/Vaughn commentary. Should be hilarious.

Longer? It wasn't long enough the first time?

And a crash course in wedding crashing? How much misogyny can one DVD hold?

Birdman you've outdone yourself.

Edit: Picked this up today, Chapters bookstore put it out well ahead of release, will watch and report on the "Uncorked Edition" as soon as possible [I'd watch it right now but I have work]

Looking over the special features on the disc, I don't see any sign of the test audience reactions. And you're pretty much spot on about the featurettes...
