My kitten is making the neighbours hate me.

My kitten, now about 10 months old, is possibly the most adept killer I have ever seen.

She has been out since late May and in this time she has brought home and killed

29 Shrews

7 Mice

4 Rats

11 Sparrows (fledlings)

17 Frogs

And the rotten remains of a crow...

Essentially she is killing at least one thing a day, more at the weekends, and these are jus the victims I have witnessed...

As such my kitten is pure awesomeness. However my neighbours don't take too kindly too the killing and have started heckling me about it....which sucks

There's a lot of shrews where you live.

My old cat Whiskers used to catch anoles and baby black racers and bring them to front doorstep, usually alive. Once she caught a bird that she also brought back alive, but eventually died because of a broken wing.

Feral cats are actually a big threat to wild birds and have decimated the population of some rare species in certain areas. But if your cat's killing House Sparrows, that's okay. They're an introduced species.

Your cat looks a lot like mine. She's an indoor cat, so she's never been outside. I bet she'd react the same way.

Your cat is amazing.

My cat likes to bring live birds inside, then let them go when they're bleeding and then their blood gets all over stuff and it's incredibly disgusting and pretty sad, too. I can't blame him, though. It's morally ambiguous or something.

Simply train your cat to kill hecklers. Problem=solved.

Buy more kittens.

Have your cat train them.

Cat army at your disposal.


Sure they'll eventually turn on you and shred you to pieces but that's inevitable. Enjoy it while you can.
