KONG Toys

Thread Starter
I went to TRU this weekend with the female, and found quite a few KING KONG sets that I guess they'd put out early (Amazon doesn't have them out until Octobe. They had Kong vs a fish-type dinosaur (Piranhadon or something), a big pack of bugs from the ravine sequence, another dinosaur on its own and the one I picked up, Kong vs Juvenile V-Rex. Pretty cool, with a good angry head sculpt and a miniature Ann. Here's the cardback:

Nice find...I do hope this flick kicks ass and I'm definately gonna have to pick up that set when I see them around here.

Not sure if this is relevant, but has anyone seen that Toon Disney has started airing this cartoon about a boy that can turn into King Kong? It looks like a network reject from the mid-nineties, and I'm curiopus as to what the hell it's about.

I saw this thread and immediately thought "KONG HANDS", but alas, there were none.

Call me when you find some KONG HANDS.

I guess the whole "using the actual scientific names" thing went out of style after the last Jurassic Park movie?
