I doesn't seem that October is as strong as last month. Paradise Now looks to be by far the most interesting. IMO.

Anyone else notice that the more recent Zorro trailer has seriously downplayed the kid's role? He must not have been testing well.

If they had done testing for Zorro, they probably would have gotten back nothing but a pile of cards that read "Why?"

Domino may be the only flick I see this month. Man on Fire was a huge surprise, enough so to give this one a shot.

Of course, take into account that we only have one 12-plex where I live, and my home entertainment system is better than their crap setup. They had 2 screens with broken sound (speakers cutting in and out) for 9 months because they were waiting to upgrade everything at once, but kept running films on them. Of course, bad theaters, crazy prices and uncompelling films can't have anything to do with the box office lull, right?

And did you guys forget Kiss Kiss, Bang Band or do I have the release date off?

Well it comes out in select cities Oct 21. Maybe they're saving it for when it opens wide in November.

After seeing the Good Night trailer last night, it just moved up on my list. I like Strathaim and he seems like he'll be great in this. I'm not a huge Clooney fan, but I'm interested in seeing Downey Jr. who seems to be involved in some interesting work lately. Plus, I really like the overall look and feel the trailer gives.
