Well, I live in BFE, so the only available high speed was satellite. Today I got Direcway installed and so far I'm not sure. I'm coming from slow-ass dial-up, so it's better than that, but it pales in comparison to a DSL connection I was using at another office. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I hope I didn't just fuck myself.
Anyone else here have this? Are there tweaks out there that I can use to improve the speed? I'm also looking for something in the background that i can use to see if my connection is active and working. Something like the little icon in the task bar that shows you when the connection is good and working.
