Have the CHUD boards gone wacky?

Cause I don't know about you, but suddenly everything's reverted back to the standard vBulliten skin and colors, leaving the sexy green and black somewhere in my memory.

What gives?

EDIT: No sooner than I hit "submit thread" did everything go back to normal. Go figure.

EDIT PART II: Nevermind, it's gone back to vBulliten mode. To quote Lewis Black: I am confuuuuuused.

The forum has been upgraded to 3.5 which would mean that some templates are out of commission for awhile. Everything seems to be in order.

Some of the new nuances don't work with the new upgrade so It'll evolve a little. Might be like this until Monday as I have baseball to watch and a comic to write in between bouts of this tweakage.

Don't know if I care for the red & green text, but I like the improved formatting tools.

I was going to say, we can do avatars but we can't fix the 80's + toxic barf color scheme(?), but it seems to be changing for the better as we speak. My eyes thank you, sirs.

Unless vBulliten has changed something since I last messed with it, there shold be a way to allow users to upload their own avatars (with customizable size and resolution limits), as well as upload a general avatar menu for people to choose from.

There should be an option in people's User CP. Also, image shave to be 50x50 pixels.

Still don't see an option to add an avatar. All there is is the button to not use one and the box where the current avatar goes.

I can't seem to get mine to work either. And though half of my brain finds a bit of fun in it, and will probably use it if availableI think it's actually better that we don't use them. Somehow seems to add to the fact that this board is miles above most other forums in terms of maturity.

I think it's the user's responsibility to be wise and tasteful in it. Also, aesthetically I like Avatars with a black background.

That's a good point. I'd wondered why we had smilies available when they're so clearly looked down upon by the majority here, but then I realized it's a good quick indicator of who might be a dumbass. I guess the same goes for avatars. I'll try to use it wisely. And you're right, they are less obtrusive on black as opposed to white.

I could get used to this. Cheers, Nick. Yeah, that's me trying to figure out how to use my sister's cellphone camera and looking into the viewer instead of the front of the camera. Accidentally cleared the rest of her saved pictures while trying to save this one. She didn't let me use it again. Fucking technology.

I felt the same way last time it changed, but now I don't even remember what it looked like anymore. I'm sure this one will grow on me just as much. As long as the overall puke green feel remains. But the neon quoting text does need to go.

I'm liking the new design. A lot. Very slick. All the links are underlined though. Do other people prefer it the old way with no underlines, or is it just me?
