Samuel L. Jackson, Spike Lee, Dule Hill, Julia Stiles, and Harry Connick Jr. were all on PBS's kids detective show "Ghostwriter" in the early 90s.

I have to admit I watched that show but do not remember any of those people being on there.

The role of Andy Kaufman in MAN IN THE MOON was open to all Hollywood actors to audition, sending in their own videotapes. It eventually came down to two possibilities, and the studio and Milos Foreman picked the more financially viable one. The other tape? Edward Norton.

Speaking of Man in the Moon. If you read the Autobiogrphy of Jerry "the King" Lawler he talks about how hard Carey was to work with in that film.

Most people know the whole Lawler/Kaffmen wrestling thing was a huge set up ( a work between the two of them kept very secret) but for "realsim" Carey wanted Lawler to actually do the moves on him. Dispite Lawlers protesting if he did it for real then he could seriously hurt Carey, Jim kept pushing it. Eventually resorting to name calling and insutling Lawlers Familey to get him to do it. So according to Jerry Lawler on the next take he did, and consquently Jim Carey injured his neck - although never blamed Lawler for it and simply carried on as normal.
