Cool brush with fame. Elliott almost has that same "I'll laugh at anything he does" effect on me that Norm Macdonald does. I've heard his book is really funny and the plot alone sounds like it will be a great read.

i was dying laughing when he was reading from it
the book takes place in 1882 but chris has no knowledge of the era
so he just made shit up he thought the editor was gonna chop the book but they left it just as he wrote it i cant wait to start reading it

If I met him I'd superglue my hand to his shoe. I wonder if he'd appreciate my devotion to Get A Life?

Did he destroy your ability to use punctuation?

Chill out. I just felt like I needed oxygen after that post.

Congrat's on meeting the guy, though.

But since we're at it:

I'm mixed on Chris Elliot. Sometimes he seems like the epitome of lameness. Other times, pure brilliance. I had no idea he was a writer, though.

he wrote a book prior to this called Daddy's Boy
which was very original hed write a page about his childhood
on the next page chris's dad would be able to rebutle what he said
very funny stuff so the whole book theyre just switching off

he also wrote for lettermen from 1982 - 1990
