Ok. So I'm working on a treatment for a 15-minute documentary for my screenwriting class, and to tie it into the school (I'm attending SHSU), I chose to cover Richard Linklater & the film Dazed & Confused, which is based on people Linklater knew in Huntsville. Mostly, I'm trying to focus on the recent lawsuit brought against Linklater by two guys who claim Linklater didn't get their permission to use them as basis for the movie.
Now, I'm scouring the internet, but I'm coming up short on finding information on this. Most impotantly, I'm trying to find out the outcome of this suit (or what the status is). Wikipedia and IMDb aren't helping much, and a google search didn't yeild anything. Anyone know where I can dig up some info?
