Stupid Human Logic

Do you ever do stuff that just makes you hang your head in shame at your own defiance of logic?

I know more of these will come to me later, but most recently I had a get-together to go to, started drinking a little early in the day, but I set my alarm for an hour before the meeting time. Next thing I know I'm waking up 4 hours after the meeting time, I look at my alarm clock, not only is it turned off, but there's apparently a 5 dollar bribe stuck under it.

Which stupid acts of human logic are you guys ashamed of having commited?

Long ago, when I was taking a sculpture class, I'd been working on a clay bust for what seemed like forever. It occupied most of my free time, since I really had no idea what I was doing. One morning, after a particularly bad night's sleep, I blearily walked into the bathroom. After deciding that my head "didn't look right", I began to attempt to mash my features into more proper form for about a minute before I realized it didn't work that way.
