Someone stole my fucking cell phone and car keys last night while I was bowling. And considering that there were only about 50 people total at the alley, and that there's an extensive camera system there, odds are they should be busted soon. I even called my phone after I found it missing, and the msg I got was, "User is currently on the phone." Yeah, I bet you were, you little shit. The phone company turned the service off a little while ago.

But it's really a fucking pain in the ass. The phone was a company phone, luckily, so I will file a report tomorrow and get a new phone, and I had my numbers (somewhat recently) backed up on my PC.

The keys only had 3 keys on it, but all of my damn scan card-thingies! Now I have to get all new ones. On the plus side, I can now buy that Bierko key chain I've had my eye on. Ok, done with vent. I hate humanity.

I talked to this guy who lost his wallet and cell phone. He called the cell and the guy who answered casually demanded $50 for their return, and said "Hey, sorry, I'm a thief, you know?"

I think honesty is refreshing.

Simmilar to Chris' story

A freind of mine told me a story about an old work buddy of his (he used to be in the police) who had his phone stolen along with his car, and a load of rare albums . He rang the phone and the theif answerd and the guy said he didnt care about the car or the phone as they were insured he just wanted his music back. The Theif agreed to do this for £50, so the police guy turns up at this car park the theif had picked out waits for him to turn up and with the aid of a couple of police buddies promplty arrests him.
