As a soon to be 31 year old with a baby on the way, October has become the cruelest of months. Great CDs, Video Games and DVDs hit the store shelves. Many of which I could buy as birthday presents to myself and then get the rest at Christmas.

Alas, those days are over as the broke-ed-ness claims me wallet.


So what better idea than to hear your Xmas list of stuff I'll never get!

All that being said, I'm not asking for much. My brain does have a sense of reality.

What I want:
Memento Mori 6-DVD set
Shadow of the Colossus
Fatal Frame III
Soul Calibur III
Ladytron's newest CD
Rocking Chair for soon to be Baby Phineas

What I'll get:
a $15 certificate to EB Games
TONS of BABY GIFTS

I'd really like a nice Canon Telephoto lens to go with my new Rebel XT.
There are a couple of books of course.
Some movies.
Maybe some money towards an X-Box 360 if it turns out to be all that.

Really though, just peace on Earth, good will towards all men.

4. Wireless Keyboard + Mouse.
5. Xbox DVD Playback Kit.
6. 15 minutes with Scarlett Johannsen's ass (2 for pounding, 13 for cuddles)

Those are the things at the top of my list. I'm getting old or something because I'm getting to the point that I like the food and company more than anything else.

What I want:

30GB iPod video
Master & Commander Collector's Set (cannot believe I still don't have this)
A shitload of DVDs
Final Cut Pro HD
a 17" G5 Powerbook

What I'll get:

30GB iPod video (I know cause my mom had to ask me what color/engraving I wanted, plus I'm getting it early)
a bunch of clothes
a few DVDs
gift cards

If someone gets you a G5 powerbook you get on your knees and service them like a young Brady Anderson.


Not sure what I'd put on my list...I mean stuff I'd actually expect people to afford and or buy. I generally get the dvds fairly easily....I've got most the filmmaking equipment I need....

How about this....because I know my wife likes to read what I write on here...sneaky girl.

1. An old mini dvd camcorder to use as a capture device for the editor. See ebay-- (gotta save the stress on the DVX's heads)
2. Subscription to American Cine.
3. Boardgames man...
4. More college chicks hanging around the condo.
5. New motherboard and processor
6. Battlefield 2

What I want:

An HD-TV (or at least HD-compatible)
A Nintendo DS (Castlevania, Trauma Center, and Phoenix Wright)
The Buffy Chosen Box Set (the one with the whole series)
Futurama Vol 2, 3, and 4
My EBay account reinstated
XBox 360 (because the only way I'm getting one this year is if someone's kind enough to get it for me)
A PSP (ditto)
New black trench coat (the old one's seen better years)
Steady-paying writing job
A white christmas
Love (Sappy, but fuck it, it's been a rough year)

What I'll Get:
The DS
The Buffy Set
Futurama Vol 2
The trench coat's a maybe
A dry, but fucking freezing christmas
Fatter.
