Just a thread for everyone to tell us all what they'll be watching when Samhain comes around tonight.

I started at 3PM:

Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Land of the Dead
Zombie (Fulci)

so far. I'm hoping to squeeze in The Beyond, Dead Alive, Shaun of the Dead, and maybe Re-animator. Obviously, I'm going for an "alien invasion" theme.

28 Days Later
House of 1000 Corpses
Shaun of the Dead
Young Frankenstein
The Evil Dead
The Evil Dead II
Army of Darkness
Bubba Ho-Tep

So far, I've watched Evil Dead and 28 Days Later...we'll see what I'm able to squeeze in while I'm still in the Halloween spirit. Thank God for a portable DVD player and a very laid-back job!

My wife and I have a marathon every year. This year, rules were, we couldn't rent anything we had seen before and it didn't matter if they looked bad because every horror fan knows that even bad horror can sometimes be good horror. The results, from worst to best are -

Skinned Deep
Snapped
Madhouse
Kibakichi
The Last Horror Film
Dead and Breakfast
Dead Meat
Dead Birds
House of Wax

Skinned Deep is probably the worst movie I've ever watched. House of Wax was surprisingly good and quite a bit of fun. Plus it had some of the best, most sadistic violence I've seen in a mainstream Hollywood film in some time. Overall, pretty bad. We'll probably go back to the tried and true next year.

Started out with DEAD ALIVE and finished with the drinking game on the WILD ZERO DVD. Rock 'n' Roll forever!
