I think it's a great cover. Sure, it's cashing in on Sin City, but at least it's attractive. There are too many ugly covers out there.
This movie has more in common with Sin City than Bad Taste did with Lord of the Rings -- and Bad Taste's DVD promotion was all about "From the director of The Lord of the Rings! You must buy this movie!"
Anyway, Roadracers is fun. It's all character and no plot -- just a series of good scenes that don't really build to anything. But it's fun nonetheless. I love the music (I'd love to get a soundtrack album) and I've been meaning to get my hands on
Rodriguez's (out of print) journal
from the time he shot this film. Sort of a sequel to Rebel Without a Crew.
