Looking for the name of an adventure game

I don't have the greatest memory of it and I only played part of it very briefly. It came out maybe 10 years ago. It was an adventure game and I believe the story had a connection about Vincent Vang Gogh or a similair type artist. And one of the settings (or the main settings) was an old house with many paintings on the walls and you would interact with them.

--also alot of blue hue in the game.

--characters had a claymation look to them.

I've been trying to remember this game for awhile now, its been driving me crazy.

The Dark Eye.

It was based on stories and poems by Poe.

Although i had a hard time trying to get the game to work.
