Anyone remember reading a couple of years back that some studios were planning to re-release classic 80's/90's action films in the cinema that would benefit from the IMAX treatment. Personally there quite a few films that I'd love to see on the BIG BIG screen.
a few examples would be Aliens, Terminator 1 & 2, Die Hard, Back to the Future, Star Wars Trilogy
Also The Lord of the Rings Trilogy was show as a one off in London earlier this year on IMAX, i'd love to have seen them but couldn't make it so I'm hoping that there are plans to give them a wider release at some point soon.
