Did Masters of Horror, so I figured I'd post this too for those that are interested. The tentative airdate for the first of eight episodes is June 15, 2006 on TNT. Like MoH, they're supposedly each an hour long. I suspect if it does well, they will continue to adapt King stories for more seasons to come. Here is what is known so far...

Stephen King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes

Adapted by Mike Robe

2. "Umney's Last Case"

3. "The End of the Whole Mess"

4. "The Fifth Quarter"

8. "Home Delivery"

All stories are from King's collection From Nightmares & Dreamscapes (duh!) with the exception of "Battleground", which can be found in the collection Night Shift, and "The Road Virus Heads North", which can be found in Everything's Eventual.

Others that are known to be involved in the series: Richard Thomas, Harold Hopkins, and Andy Anderson...........as well as writers Peter Filardi, April Smith, and Alan Sharp.

Thanks for the info.

I remember hearing a few year back about a Dolan's Cadillac movie starring Sly Stallone. Thank God that wasn't made. I love Gabriel Bryne.

Wow, had no idea that there was a Dolan's Cadillac movie already. I love that story.

This series has got potential, but on TNT? Hmmm.

Wish they could've have the Moving Finger on there though.

The Dolan's cadillac movie a few years back would have starred Kevin Bacon and Sly Stallone and Stallone would have played the gangster. I can't remember who was supposed to direct, but I seen to recall it was a female director.

Was it Kathryn Bigelow? I seem to remember her name banded about.

I think you are right about it being Bigelow. Where has she gone anyway? Has she directed anything since K19: The Widowmaker?

Updated the info above. They are also in the correct airing order apparently. It seems Dolan's Cadillac is no a part of the lineup after all. I guess they're either turning it into a full length TV movie or it was never a project to begin with. Also, it is Lawrence D. Cohen that is involved with the series, not Larry Cohen.

Oh man I hope they do not mess up Crouch End that is one of my favorite King short stories. If they can pull off of the whole Lovecraft creepiness of the whole thing that will be awesome!

Garris and his episode are off the project. In its place will be an adaptation of the story "Autopsy Room Four".
