the Luke/X-Wing looks pretty cool. the only thing that sucks is that there will not be any 30 minute commercials, i mean cartoons.

Board games and non-Hasbro vehicles are too obvious. The Playskool figures are disturbing, but not patronizing enough. "Darth Tater"? A drop in the bucket. These "Lobots in Disguise" are a step in the right direction. HOWEVER! I demand even MORE Star Wars-related toy mashups:

-Care Bear Sith Lords

-My Pet Wampa

-Darth Armstrong (screams "Noooooo!" when pulled)

I'm out of ideas (that don't suck, like these). It's been a long day.

I would carry a Darth Armstrong everywhere just so I can use the "Nooooo" soundbite at various points during my day.


The Grievous looks like they just stuck a wheel on it's back and said "voila! Transformer Grievous".

I suspect I would have liked the Luke figure when I was a kid. That Obi-Wan thing, though, looks like something that stumbled out of Seth Brundle's transporter.

Actually, the reson for the suits was that most aliens that live in space were the same size as the Transformers but for some (and by some I mean there was one but its been 14 years since i read the comics )reason hated them. the suits were a disguse so they could move about without being recognised.

In those stories Deaths Head was actually the size of the Transformers but was eventually shrunk down to human size by Dr Who.

I kid you not.


I dont want to get into a Star Wars bashing session here but didnt Lucas have to approve the idea seeing as he owns the rights to the merchendise?

Knowing Lucas, he probably just looked at everything, looked at the designers, looked at the marketers, and simply asked "This is gonna make me more money right?" Following an euthusiastic nod from the audience, Lucas stamps the "Gellin" stamp on it.
