It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Page 4

I cannot wait to watch "The Gang Gives Back" again and again and again. I might see if there is some way that I can simply loop the scene of the asian kid running laps in flip flops while holding Dennis's diet soda.

OMG! That's my favorite episode as well. It killed me the first time I saw it, but it has infinite replay value.

Hey Div, here you go: "Terrible. Take a lap."

You da man!

So season three hasn't aired yet, right? I'm halfway through season two but I don't have FX or even know when it's on or what's going on with the show.
Season one and two arrive on dvd this September. I imagine that is when season three starts up.

My favourite part (many of them) of the show has to be when the cops show up asking about the terrorist video. I love Charlie's reaction: "Ooooooohhhhh.... shit." I couldn't stop laughing.

And of course THE BEST moment is when Charlie answers the door wearing the Nazi uniform while eating a banana.

Oh, I had forgotten how much this show makes me laugh. FX needs to start airing some marathons or something.
Awesome. The screen cap I posted on page 1 isn't nearly as good as that. I'm going to watch that episode again.
I just lost it at my desk and my boss is giving me a funny look. Who knew the simple act of eating a banana could be so very, very hilarious?

If I had to pick a favorite moment from the show, it would have to be the training montage from "Hundred Dollar Baby". Sweet Dee using the electric razor always makes me laugh.

If were talking about favorite moments who can forget Charlie's America Song

Saw a few commercials for this while I was watching Rescue Me on the Tivo machine.

Premiere date of September 13th. So far i've seen 3 different spots, two of them ape the Mac/PC commercials. The other shows one of the McPoyle Brothers stabbing the other.

and per Wiki the title of episode 1..."Dennis Gets a Puppy"

Excellent news! September feels so far away!

I fucking forgot how much I love this show. The "To catch a Predator" bit was fucking hysterical. Cannot wait for this to hit DVD.

holy shit that was great.

"Pepper Jack loves fraggle rock"

Frank firing up the chainsaw at the end and the whole "to catch a predator" were great.
The story stuff is good, but it's always the little bits that end up destroying me.
Charlie saying "I'll allow it" into the mic was that moment. Honorable mention goes to "Can you do a woman's voice?"
I would love to see more of Pepper Jack.
I was loving this episode already but when it kicked into TO CATCH A PREDATOR, I fucking lost it. "Ooooh, not really into the whole 'condom-thing'." and Dennis walking in as Chris Hansen.

Sweet Dee's clown shoes squeeking when they were stalking the waitress was pretty great also.

I hate to be the guy to say it, and if anyone is going to be a Sunny apologist it's me, but the first four episodes of this season are really bad. It felt like someone doing a parody of the show. I was hoping the Mac is a Serial Killer was just going to be an off episode, but it's probably the best one of they have in the can judging from the DVD they're sending around.

Start lowering your expectations.

If you don't think Mac is a Serial Killer is an "off" episode, then clearly your views on comedy don't coincide with mine.

Expectations remain high.

I found it consistently amusing, but easily the least entertaining episode of the show so far. And it was better than first four.

That was great, Fred Savage likes to watch.

Thanks, Rob!

"Oh, I'm just hear to watch."

Good stuff.

On the third disc of the DVD set, they have Kaitlin's audition. They had no dialogue for Sweet Dea, so they just had her read the scene where Dennis found out Charlie has cancer. It's piss-your-pants funny. She's genius at playing a girl with Dennis' asshole personality. The way she stays so detached and never really gives a shit about this "heartbreaking" stuff is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It's even better because the scene goes on and on, it's at least twice as long as the Dennis/Charlie bit in the episode.

Also, hearing the guys say "fuck" all over this DVD makes me wish this was on HBO. It's so liberating. I haven't been this amused by hearing the f-word since I came across it for the first time (on film) with Clear and Present Danger. Not that Charlie has anything on Mr. Willem Dafoe in the comedy department.

This DVD set is like crack. Really kickass crack. It's easily my #1 "show-I-have-to-make-everyone-I-know-watch"....show. It was hard to do with all the episodes on my Tivo/DVR, but now I can pass them these little scientific video discs and watch the magic happen.

Damned hilarious...can't wait for the 13th.
Ok, I just finally watched that MySpace episode and I found it hilarious. I'm definitely excited for some new episodes.
The commercial where the one brother stabs the other cracks me up everytime.
So, did anyone pick up the dvd set this week?
I haven't yet...just don't have much time to get out for that stuff during the week anymore. I do plan on getting it this weekend though.
I got the DVD set. One thing I was rather disappointed in: on the back of the box it says commentary on select episodes. Well apparently they only selected two of them.
