What the? Where in the hell did this movie come from?

I was perusing my local newspaper last week and saw that the DVD was coming out this december. Straight to video release I assume.. following the exploits of Stiffler's brother?

anyway other than this trailer I found (that sucks),

http://www.themovieinsider.com/v2751...e-trailer.html

I was wondering if this DVD is going to put the nail in the coffin for American Pie? I honestly liked American Wedding but thought that about summed up the series.

This I'm afraid is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Nevermind that...

what was that 8MM2 DVD I saw in the Special Edition the other day?

Yeah, unlike the American Pie one, I'm pretty sure 8MM2 is completely unrelated to the original.

Making a American Pie film without Alyson Hannigan is an exercise in stupidty anyway. She was smart to see that this franchise was jumping the shark.

I don't know about that...I thought each of the Pie films were pretty good. They're enoyable little romps. I'd actually like to see another one with the original cast take on parenthood. Call it: "American Girl". Or is that too on the nose.

The third movie shouldn't have dropped "Pie" from the title. It should have been called Wedding Pie. Subsequent sequels should have gone international with titles like French Guianese Pie, Azerbaijani Pie and of course Thai Pie.

Watched this about a month ago, it is what you would call painfully attrocious, to the point where they actually had naked girls on it, yet show no more than a 5 millisecond shot of breast in the reflection of a mirror, and considering nudity is all this movie could have possibly had going for it, thats quite bad.

Worst of all is the guy playing Stiffler's brother, doing a painfully bad impersonation of Seann William Scott. Not a single thing that comes out of his mouth is not cringe-worthy idiocy. At times you'd think he was playing a fifth grader.

Look out for the special feature on the dvd in which some of the female stars dance around in skimpy clothing to a cover version of Baby Got Back.

I want them to go one step further and make American Pie Presents: Cream Pie.

It's probably already been done though.

Yeah, it stars Tom Sizemore.

It's a shame USA Up All Night isn't on anymore. This movie was destined for it.

I've had enough of the pie fucking movies. It had its day in 1999.

Let it die.

American Pie Presents: The Nake Mile.

Looks like I started this thread almost a year ago... and sure enough a year later and there is another Straight to Video DVD release.

The American Pie moniker is turning into a National Lampoon moniker.. which basically equates to crap.

They make money and cost next to nothing

although they have next to no heart unlike the first three films. They also have decreasing amounts of naked chicks, which I imagine has something to do with the budget. No more "Nerds" films but Universal keeps this going? Ahhhhhhhh brand beating.

Seriously, less nudity - with the latest called Nude Mile?

The first was great at its time - the second managed to up it and keep a slightly fresher tone, the third was Stifler-the movie and this last one makes me wish I had never seen the previous three, as they are the only reason I gave such a lame arse gravy filled down syndromed abortion of a movie a shot.

The lame Sean William impression is only upped by the empty feeling I now have when i see Eugene Levy.
