Ninja Turtles III, but I don't suppose that makes any sense since I like the first two. Hell, I even like the first one for real and not just out of fun nostalgia like Part II.

Daredevil's Director's Cut was 9 bucks at Wal*Mart, and I liked it enough for 9 bucks. The new cut was cool, I guess, but the music still made me not want to watch it again for a really long time.

I fell into the "movie geek" slot pretty late, actually - somewhere in high school, which wasn't very long ago, so I have to say that I wasn't a fan of a few movies I thought I had to buy. Example: Army of Darkness. I don't know what it is. Maybe I'm just too young (20), but I missed the Army of Darkness bandwagon, and the first time I watched it after a blind-buy, I was just going, "What the fuck is the big deal?" It grew a little on me over time, but I ultimately traded it in at Blockbuster. Perhaps it was because I owned the "bootleg cut."

I also didn't like Reservoir Dogs at first, but that grew on me pretty quickly. I was a victim of the overhype machine, as all of the hip kids told me how awesome it was. It's a good flick, and I'm glad I bought it now without having previously seen it, but it's not my favorite Tarantino flick by any means. Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure ALL of my Tarantino movies were blind-buys back in the day, with the exception of the Kill Bills and True Romance (if that counts). I bought them all after catching Pulp Fiction on HBO in 9th or 10th grade.

Anyway, yeah...Ninja Turtles III sucks.

I tried to avoid buying movies I didn`t like before because I was only buying movies I had already seen that I wanted to own forever. But since i`m a horror nut, recently i`ve found more horror flicks available in speciality shops than in video clubs. In most video clubs movies for rentals are mostly new releases not old flicks. So in recent years i`ve bought my share of low-cost DVD of restored old horror movies. And since I bought it in one batch to watch around Halloween, some of them I had not seen. One was so bad that I threw it in the trash and i`m happy. Another one I have is the brit flick "Don`t Look Now" wich must have been special in 1973 but doesn`t hold too well now. It`s an average bore and I bought thinking it was a superb classic.

There`s also those horror compilations: it`s possible to not like every freakin movies in the batch.
