So, my Xbox doesn't want to work anymore

I press the power button on my Xbox. The green ring flashes. I hear the typical noises inside the little bastard. No video. No audio. No tray eject, other than one facilitated with a hairpin.

The Xbox knowledge base isn't giving my any help, and the DIY repair info is just as gloomy.

It's fucked, isn't it?

And someone got me Tron 2.0, too.

My only guess is that you're colorblind and mixed up the hookups, as I've done. That or having the connector set to TV or HDTV would cause image problems.

Is it a modded-Box? I've read similar problems after modding. Supposedly it can be fixed with a couple solderings inside.

If not, how old is it? Might be able to get Microsoft to fix it for free by calling 1-800-4MY-XBOX.
