Horror-related Christmas gifts?

Fuck those other guys with their thread- anyone get any cool horror swag for the holidays?

Me- From my girl I got a Rue Morgue subscription (i was too cheap to get one myself... ), and the present to end all presents- a 9X12 illustration of a picture of me and my girl.... as zombies.

Almost splooged myself when I saw this. It's getting framed and stuck up on the wall to freak out all visitors.

I also got a Barnes and Noble gift card that was used to pick up the I Am Legend graphic novel and Christopher Moore's Bloodsucking Fiends.

Not too much horror stuff this year, but that's what happens when you move in with your girl- everyone gets you household things. Uck.

Anyways, anyone get any other cool stuff?

Alex, that is about the coolest gift I can think of getting...

Being separated from the wife this year was all about the kids. They got STOCKED.

I did get an Amazon gift "card" from my sister. Probably going to order 'The Keep' comic with it. Maybe a couple flicks.

I must say that is about the most original gift I have ever heard of. Did she get it professionally done, or did she do it herself?

My girl got me a set of Evil Dead shotglasses, a copy of Bubba Ho-Tep (one of my favorite Bruce Cambell flicks) a Nightmare Before Christmas throw blanket (moreso for her needs, I'm fat so I don't get cold) and an awesome Nightmare Before Christmas leather jacket.

She also got this boardgame called "Atmosfear." I don't know if anyone else has heard of it, but everyone is basically playing against some asshole on a DVD known as "The Gatekeeper" It's fun.

She commisioned an artist she found online to make it for her. Completely suprised me, cause she's really not into horror. You should've seen the reactions from a few of her friends....

Atmosfear? Playing board games against my family this christmas made me realize how much a horror one would rock. Worth checking out?

I got some underpants. That's pretty horrifying, right?

The game is a bit complicated at first glance, but after playing through it once, it is very addicting.

the game takes about 49 minutes to play, and the DVD counts down for you.

Up to six players can participate, and they can pick from horror staples such as a werewolf, mummy, witch, poltergeist, a zombie, and strangely enough, Elisabeth Bathory.

The object of the game is to go around the board collecting keys from each of the six realms and then you have to draw a piece of paper from a chest in the middle that everyone wrote their greatest fears in. if you draw your fear, you win.

One problem, though. The asshole on the DVD known as the Gatekeeper routinely fucks with all of the players. He makes you go back to where you started and all kinds of other crap to mess up the players. the funniest thing was when he made me leave the room and then told all of my friends to stare at me intently until I said something.

It's really an entertaining game, and no, I'm not a shill ("hey guys, this is my first post, but there is this boardgame you have to buy!"

my girlfriend found it online, so I don't know if stores carry it.

That game sounds awesome. I found it online... these dvd games are damn expensive.... but i'll probably shop around and pick it up soon.

A great friend of mine came over my place yesterday and brought presents- gave me Dead and Breakfast (funny as hell) and Henry: Potrait of a Serial Killer for the missus....heh. Good shit.
