That sounds like a good plan. You can't go wrong with KFC and PBR. Speaking of that, last night I went to the local Buffalo Wild Wings to eat dinner there, watch some TV, and yeah I had some Pabst. Nothing of note to say there, except that I saw a midget girl walking around, then later she got in her car and drove away! Yes, there are ways for vertically-challenged people to drive regular-sized cars.

Tremendous. I SO want to see Seagal and Zooey have a conversation with each other.

What is not tremendous, though, is that a little earlier in the night I saw that a certain movie would be on TMC at this time, and it's a film that has been mentioned in this thread before.

Believe it or not, it's BLUBBERELLA.

I'm one who says that Uwe Boll doesn't deserve all the BS he's gotten for like the past 5 years or so. That trend of blindly bashing him has gotten old. However, he does deserve to get bashed for this. It just started at midnight, and as soon as I post this, I'll turn the TV off and do something else; it really is SO bad. It's so amateur and cheap it looks like it was made for about 500 bucks. Honestly, no one should watch it even if you were curious like I was. It's just insultingly bad.

For example, right now they're doing a spoof of Precious for Christ knows what reason. And the movie is really set in no time period; it deals with Nazi's and Hitler and yet modern technology is used... yes, it's that stupid. I guess it was thought that was OK because this is a spoof, but trust me none of it is funny in the least bit. There are chapters and titles that appear on the screen as if this was fucking Kill Bill, which it's a million miles from being. It's so bad, it seems like none of the scenes I've witnessed so far really go together at all in any way that makes any sense.

Even if you're a "chubby chaser", please avoid this. I have NO idea what Boll was thinking with this, unless he was on a massive coke-fueled bender the entire time; "mountains of cocaine" is my only explanation.

Yeah, it's about time for me to turn the TV off; not even the introduction of a nice-looking brunette named SLUTLANA makes me want to keep on watching this travesty.

Just made my Pre-Order for the updated version of Seagalogy.

Looking foreward to Vern's take of Attack The Dark, Ruslan, Kill Switch. Along with the Steven Seagal: Lawman and True Justice TV Shows.

Just got back from Chicago a couple hours ago! Saw The Raid, and had a great time in the city on a Sunday night.

The Raid is everything and more that everyone who's been lucky enough to see it has been saying it is. I'm not even worried about blowing it out of proportion, because it exceeds any possible expectations you may have in your mind. It is the new standard upon which all future B action movies will be judged. I can't even believe that they have the balls to try and remake this movie for an American audience, they will never recapture the brutality on display in this film, which I can now safely call the...

Saw the first 2 episodes of Rome: Season 1. Pretty great start. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the season and season 2.

Watching The Omen remake right now. Never seen it before. It's directed by John Moore. He who has earned the hate for directing Max Payne (which I liked) and now A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD aka Die Hard: Red Steel, Die Hard: Dosvidanja Tovarisch. It's not bad for a modern remake, and not PG-13. Pete Postlewaite is bringing an aura of class to this movie that it doesn't deserve. Then again he did that in a lot of movies. RIP.

Been reading The Hellbound Heart aka the progenitor of the Hellraiser series. Pretty good so far. Scorpio's name in the book is Rory as opposed to Larry in the movie, and Frank is brought back to life via dead sperm cells of his from when he jerked off (in fear!) right before being taken by the Cenobites. Perfect night time reading.

Checked Amazon, and there's no pre-order link yet for Red Scorpion. Strange as it's only a little over 2 months before it's released, but at least it's coming out soon, and not later this year.

I'll probably do the same thing you're going to do about the LW Blu-ray boxset, Molt. I just revisited the first 3 films a few weeks back, so since they're still fresh in my mind, I'm not eager to get the set right out the door. I'll wait until it's 20 bucks or 30 bucks.

Just watched Cowboys and Aliens. Good film right up until Olivia Wilde becomes the Phoenix, then it really shits the bed. But Craig, Ford, and Wilde (in the first half) are bringing their A game.

I'd love to see a remake of Magnificent Seven with Craig, Ford, Denzel Washington, Nic Cage, Russell Crowe, Robert Downy Jr and Jeff Bridges as the title characters. Actually maybe have RDJ play the leader of the Mexican Bandits. Maybe replace him with Jason Stratham as a bounty hunter who's "gone native" and wears War Paint on his head.

Wow. I've never heard of pulling your pud as a response to fear, but that idea for reanimation makes me laugh and laugh, and it sounds like the perfect book for Rene... and I mean that in a good way.

REELZ channel is pretty much all Seagal, all the time, in anticipation of the premiere of True Justice. Watched a 30 minute "exclusive" interview they've been running (and will run endlessly I'm sure) and if you like Seagal at his egomaniacal best then I can't recommend it enough. This interview has it all, including:

-Use of his phony-bologna southern accent.

-Hypothesizing that his films have grossed $3 billion dollars.

-Boasts of how True Justice will be the most realistic cop show on the air.

-A response to being asked about improvisation that begins by him saying "I am the king of improv, if you'll forgive me for saying so."

But that's not all. The tart they have interviewing Seagal starts pretty much every question off with a sentence of praise first. It's amazing. At one point she even says to Seagal "I can tell music is your heart."

I damn near flatlined.

Red Scorpion Blu-Ray?  Fucking awesome. I've been rocking the bargain basement full-screen DVD for a decade now.

Have people really been "blindly bashing" him though? I'm not really too familiar with his work after Postal but of the three or four films I've watched, his repuation seems justified.
 

Hey Guys, I do not know if anyone has a...Xbox 360, But I just picked up the...Capcom Digital Collection, and it is...Awesome!  So far of the 3 that I played...Commando Wolf Of The Battlefield is the...Best game.  You shoot with your right thumb analog stick.  It is similar to  the old...Ikari Warriors games.  You also get to drive different vehicles as well.  1942 Joint Strike is a sequel to Capcom's Top Down, shooters.  I also played Final Fight HD.  You need a good size screen as the game screen is itself inside an...Arcade Overlay!  Super Street Fighter Turbo HD, Magic Sword, Rocketmen, Puzzle Fighter, and a Bionic Commando sequel are the other games in the collection!  For...$40 it is a good buy!

Today's awesome action flick:  Peter Hyams' RUNNING SCARED (1986).  

Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines are Chicago Cops after drug smuggler Jimmy Smits. Along with 48HRS. and BEVERLY HILLS COP, it's one of the most fun actioners of the 80's. Spectacular entertainment.  Also stars Dan Hedaya, Darlanne Fluegel and Joe "Joey Pants" Pantoliano. Great music, great script, must see. :)

You should know that's a thread favorite. Superb buddy chemistry between Hines & Crystal.

What I'm watching tonite (thx to HDNMV): Sly vs Snipes: The Sci-Fi Action thriller DEMOLITION MAN.
