Ultimate Avengers Direct to DVD Movie

I don't know if this has been mentioned on the site or not, but I just saw a trailer for the movie on IGN. Marvel is releasing their first direct to DVD animated feature on February 21st. The story will be based on the first arc of "The Ultimates." A new movie will be released each quarter of this year. The next DVD will be the sequel to Ultimate Avengers. Other proposed DVDs will deal with solo stories for Iron Man and the Hulk.


Based on the trailer, I think the animation looks good, especially for the action scenes, although I'm not sure about the voice casting.

Is anyone else curious or looking forward to this?

I'm looking forward to it, but I'm also a bit disappointed in how the animation looks compared to Brian Hitch's art from both in the comics and promo materials. While I'm sure it's next to impossible to fully adapt Hitch's linework to an animated medium, something a little closer to his style would have been better.
