Saw it last night. It's pretty good. Not the second coming of Geek Christ like some reviews made it out to be, but it is good.

Hey- the official website and the confirmation email list the date of the Washington Screening as February 21st- not Valentine's day. Its also later then the Creature Corner lists its opening. I guess it is opening in VERY select theatres on the 17th if they have free screenings in LA, NY , DC and 7 other cities...

I've heard nothing but love for this flick. Can't wait to see it but I don't think I can brave the throngs at the Arclight on the 16th. I am hoping I'll be able to get out and pay for this -- whether it's the second coming or not, it's the kind of horror flick any self-respecting horror fan owes it to him/herself to patronize. Or stfu about yet another '70s remake or Asian horror remake.

Psst... we've got a wicked Night Watch contest coming up soon... stay tuned....

After seeing Night Watch again all it's done is made me even more impatient for them to release Day Watch here. The second's going to be so sick since the plot is all laid out in the first. This could be an amazing trilogy.

Got another free screening up for the folks in NYC.

They must really want some word of mouth for this film.... it's a pretty smart idea. Kinda hard to market a subtitled Russian horror movie over here...
