Name That Movie Tune

I'd thought I'd start a little game. Pretty simple, someone posts around 10 seconds of music from a movie score and We try to guess what movie it came from.

I'm still experimenting on ways of getting little peices of music on to the boards and I found that if you .zip about ten seconds of a mono mp3 it just about fits the max file attachment size. If you want to post anything bigger you'll have to link to it from a seperate site.

Try to put up another peice of music if you answer one correctly.

(Mods, feel free to delete this thread if the copyright thing doesn't sit well with you.)

Alrighty. Here's another 9 second sample. I tried to make it slightly tougher this time round, though it will probably still be an easy guess for most of you.

1st is eyes wide shut, i think.

2nd is beetlejuice.

You got Beetlejuice right, but the first one is not Eyes Wide Shut.

As for your music, after listening to it several times I still havent got a clue what movie it's from.

i have to assume i havent seen the movie its from, then. its quite distinct and im good with music, if id have heard it in something i think i would know what its from.

maybe not.

my clip has been used in a bunch of trailers, so it can be deceptive.

Yeah I figured as much, It sounds to me like it's from some sort of sports movie. You know, that kind of triumph music that gets played when they (the movie's main characters) win in the climax.

For mine I won't give any clues, instead I'll just give you another sample from the movie's soundtrack.

Tune 2 sounds like Amelie.
Tune 3 part 2 sounds like Kung Fu Hustle, but I don't recall part 1 in the score.
