I undertook this task strictly on my own. Am I insane? No, but I did start to question the wisdom of doing so after the hate mail I received just from a silly review I did about Seymore Butts Guide to Female Ejaculation. This continues to draw fire, although I have yet to hear from a female on the subject. It seems to have struck a nerve or something, and that certainly wasn't my intention. I simply felt that this whole thing had gotten out of hand, and it was time for a reality check. I never dreamed it would be taken so personally. Frankly, had I known the review would be high on list of the most read reviews of all time here, I would have taken more time and written a better one, I assure you.

So, that's why I haven't exactly been a ball of fire on this piece. I mean, the email testamonials have just started to taper off, so I'd like to ask you up front to please not send these to me anymore. I don't wish to argue about this, and I get no pleasure from shattering anyone's illusion. I have included links to medical sites that you should submit these to, should you feel the need.

I seem to the only one on the internet speaking out against this nonsense. Run a search and you'll find a ton of sites about the subject, but nothing from anyone I would trust with my cat's healthcare, let alone mine.
This 'female ejaculation' stuff is spewn all over the web, and I never fully realized how big the problem was until I casually started searching for some CREDIBLE information and maybe, just maybe, some assistance and backup to strengthen my case.

Well, guess what? There isn't anything on the web about this on any well respected medical online site. Although frustrating for me, it makes perfect sense. There is nothing on it, because it only exists in Porno World. Not the Real World. The medical community in general doesn't care to even address such a non issue, let alone get tainted with anything to do with pornography.

Please remember, I have nothing to gain here - in fact, I'm certain to take a lot of heat for this, but I have to do it, at least I'll know I tried. From emails I've received, it seems people are under the impression that I have a personal crusade going to outlaw squirting in videos, and this is not the case at all. Although I have yet to see one where it was depicted anywhere close to being as erotic as I feel it could be, it's certainly harmless enough, especially considering how many misogynist, choke & puke titles there are. Furthermore, I have nothing against the practice personally, in fact, I think it can be fun if both people are into it.

In keeping with AdultDVDTalk's pro-consumer code of ethics, a place you can count on to get the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth when it comes to your pornography, I also felt it fitting that you learn the truth right here, right now. I can honestly say that I don't know Ms. Stephanie's views on the subject, but as a U.C. Berkeley graduate and someone who has never edited one review in over 2000 now, I am confident she will publish this regardless.

Why don't I just let it go? Believe me, I've asked myself this many times. After all, it's not hurting anyone. Or is it?

It hurts other women who's husband or boyfriend believes this, and those numbers are not insignificant. The most fervent believers are males who perhaps have a difficult time separating porn fantasy from reality. Some actually start to think of their partner as 'sexually repressed' or otherwise inadequate because she's not a squirter, or doesn't care to venture into this area, which is perfectly understandable. I have seen this put forth by some of these female ejaculation evangelists out there, and that's just not right. Imagine how you would feel if, say, pornos depicted men ejaculating clear across the room, and we started expecting the same from you, or if they showed nothing but males with enormous penises? Oh wait....well, maybe those are not the best examples, and it's probably good that most females are not into porn, but I think you know what I'm getting at.

But the main reason is, it is just not medically possible, it is a myth, a hoax, and it's time put down this dog.

Let me lay out a few facts, plain and simple, before going into details, because it seems some people are still confused, and I can't blame them.

1) Is squirting real?

Yes, squirting is very real, but it has nothing to do with orgasm unless your timing is good, and it is NOT female ejaculation.

2) Do females ejaculate?

No, females do not ejaculate, males do.

3) What is it, then, and where does it come from?

Any copious fluid expelled by a female during sex, spontaneous or not, comes from the bladder. This much HAS been proven. And if it comes from the bladder, it is urine, this is the bladder's only function. It should have less concentrated levels of urine components than say, your morning urine does, but that's all.

4) I agree it's often faked in the movies, but..

No buts! It is either urine or preloaded water. Period. There simply is no other structure or organ in the female's anatomy capable of producing this copious fluid.

5) My girlfriend squirts, and believe me, it's not pee!

Sigh. Until you have this mysterious fluid tested by a credible medical laboratory, I'm sorry, I don't believe you. Why has no one been able to do this in over a decade, anyway? This is very simple, anyone with a microscope and a rudimentary knowledge of urine components can do it.

6) But this was different than pee. It was clear and had no odor, etc.

No, not in the way you're taking it. But if the thought is that repulsive to you, I suggest halting this activity.

8) Why are you being such a pussy about this, anyway?

I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound so irritated. It's just that I get tired of arguing. These are the facts, like them or not, they are irrefutable. You cannot argue anatomy. If you don't believe me, research it for yourself, but NOT on the internet. Talk to your own doctor, or read a credible medical textbook, such as Gray's. Go to your local library. There is nothing they don't know about our plumbing and how it works. There are no more mysteries, undiscovered organs, or strange fluids that they don't know about. But in case the physical impossibility of this is not enough to convince you, here are some more points to consider -

Much has been made of the Skene's glands, so let's get this out of the way as well. I've included a blown up illustration, but keep in mind, these are almost microscopic urethral glands that simply cannot, no way in hell, produce any noticeable quantity of anything. But it was a nice try.

Think about this as well - do you really believe that all of a sudden females developed this ability? Why is it not depicted in older porn, or even mentioned? Why only in the last 10 years or so?

There's also various local and international laws prohibiting "pissing videos", not to mention customs clearance problems, such as Ben Dover was having trying to get his videos into Great Britain. Given ample opportunity to present evidence that these are not depictions of urination, he has not been able to do so. In fact, no one has even attempted to put forth a case as far as I know, so this should tell you something. I don't necessarily agree with these various bans and regulations, but that's beside the point.

The porn industry has a long standing tradition similar to the Brotherhood of Magicians, ( I was going to say the Mafia, but thought of a better...simile) which frowns on anyone giving away any trade secrets, and trying to get anyone to divulge such things would ruin the illusion and possibly...*ostracize* the one who speaks out.

Even so, I was able to break the code of silence thanks to a producer of several of these popular squirting titles. I will not divulge his name however, for obvious reasons. I CAN tell you what he told me, as well as how this is accomplished. Virtually ALL of the scenes in his videos were a product of modern technology. That's right, a turkey baster and tap water. I know, you're either shocked, or just added LIAR to my multitude of sins, but you can polygraph me, I don't care. That's the truth. I can also tell you that it was not Seymore, because except for a few of those gushers, I do think Alisha Klass did indeed squirt. Urine.

I asked about this last year here, because it had happened to me more than once while having sex, and hearing about 'female ejaculation', I was interested to find out more.

Well, although I got a lot of positive feedback, I still was not fully convinced. It would have made ME feel better to think that was what it was, but I'm afraid it just didn't sound logical. After futile searching all over the www, I decided to visit my gynocologist, who explained very simply that it was nothing more than a weak pc muscle, the cause being stress maybe, who knows, but it really wasn't a big deal. He just explained how to exercize it, and in a very short time, no more problem or worry. In fact, I enjoyed the 'exercizes' so much that I can proudly say that I have an extremely strong muscle now, and total control over it.

Yes, I have engaged in this practice with a certain partner, and it actually can be very...hot, for lack of a better term. It's important to drink a LOT of water however, insuring that that is basically all that comes out. I think that's all I care to say of a personal nature.

I recently went back to my doctor mainly to ask him some more questions, but it was time for a pap smear anyway. I asked if he was aware that females now ejaculated? Well, he was quite shocked to hear this, I guess no one had bothered to tell him! At least I made him laugh, and though he claims not to watch any porn, he was vaguely aware of this 'squirting' business, but never gave it much thought, figuring it was just another porn kink. Being an OB/GYN, he is only too aware that there is indeed a sucker born every minute, and there is little the medical community can do to stem the tide of this alarming birthrate. I asked if he would care to give a statement that I could post, but for reasons stated earlier, he didn't care to get that involved. He is a very wise man.
