hmm..

"We are spared the creepy yet supliferous character of William Bludsorth, played by Tony Todd."

I think he means "superfluous." I think.

If only other horror franchises would consider just putting people in the meat grinder like the FD movies, then maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Final Destination's Death is the Kane Hodder for the new millenium. Killtastic.

Damn spellcheck...

I'm really excited to see this. Going after work today. Though I have to say I enjoyed the second one a lot more than the first. The ending also felt tacked on in the original, where as the second one at least had some sensible resolution. Well, sensible for this franchise anyway.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but that review really needed some tighter editing.

Sorry I forgot to refresh the checked review.

Cool, Greg. I'm really looking foward to this.

I agree with Supremo- I liked the second one better. The first was good too, but the second just said "you know what? Fuck reason- let's just kill these people"

Pure guilty pleasure.

Okay, now that I finally got around to seeing this, I have one big question - how in the hell do the Final Destination movies keep getting away with R ratings? I was completely shocked with the amount of gore that was allowed in the 2nd one when I first saw it. I hadn't seen something that gory in a theater in years. FD3 has even more bloodshed by far, in some truly disgusting ways. When something like Hostel is considered the height of gore, when it actually isn't that out there, how does FD get this stuff past the ratings board? Is it because it's so over the top and not caused by the hand of another person?

Hostel is more gruesome while Final Destination is more over the top. I think the tone and way the violence is treated is more important than the physical amount of blood.

I think this has a lot to do with it as well.
