The Seattle Mariners March to the 2006 World Series

A boy can dream, can't he?

Got all my fingers and toes crossed that we can make more of this season than the last. Big name players need to do what Seattle is paying them to do.

Need to catch up on the new guys, which is what I'm doing right now.

Any other fans out there?

I just want to see Felix Hernandez pitch. Missed him last year. Like to see him after the AL have seen him once.

I hope the Mariners do well enough this year that this thread doesn't become the thread where I end up talking to myself like last season.

I'm just asking for some buzz.

If Washburn gets to pitch in Anaheim I'll be sure to attend that game.

Yeah Washburn is a gamer as a Halo fan I will miss him. As for the Mariners. Well i'm curious to see how the new Catcher Kojima and Hernandez do. Ichiro is the man as is Richie Sexson.

Still theres that lump of coal at third base. Adrian " I am an underachiever. " Beltre if the man can actually throw up a decent season Seattle might make it interesting out west. Saying that though Texas is much improved and the A's and Angels will battle it out for first just like they have the last 2 years.

Great start today.

I'm preparing for the worst, once again.

And boy... Beltre looks thin.

The Mariners are up by 3 in the bottom of the 2nd inning. I really hope they can keep this kind of pace up because in the past it's been later in the game when the team has given away games.

I tell you what, Everett is a crazy mother fucker, but he knows when to swing at a pitch. I gave up on that game last night only to come to work this morning to see they came back to win it.

Suzuki seems to be on an upswing of sorts, which is a nice change of pace. Beltre continues to do nothing, which isn't surprising. Moyer? I've given up on him winning any games this year.
