anyone have this yet??

Was thinking about handing over the extra cash, depending really on how good the documentarys are..

the single disc release has comentary and deleted scenes....so all rests on how good the extra doc`s are and if its worth the extra $10-12.....

Are you kidding about the price? In the latest Special Edition, he shows an awesome price for this sucker. 20 bucks at Tower! That's either in store or online (I picked it up for 20 at the store). So for now at least, it's like 2-3 bucks more than the normal edition.

You can get it off their website then. You get free shipping for anything over 20 bucks but I would guess the 19.99 defeats that but you never know.

I have it. It's worth the extra 10 bucks just for the infinately better cover. There's also a set of black and white images of Johnny and June. I got an early copy of the one-disc set last Thursday and the commentary and deleted scenes are great. But I think the extended performances alone on the special edition second disc is worth it.

I got through the second disc of features in a little over an hour last night, so they're nothing really special. But for 26 bucks or so at Best Buy, it's worth it.

I'll also echo the love for the much slicker packaging.

ok so i bought the 2 disc dvd last night.....the extra disc is....errr well ok nothing more, definetly worth the money for the far better packaging though..

I am getting pissed with companys doing this though....2 releases on the same day and wacking up the price for a fairly under average special edition....

I rented the regular dvd from a little video store down the street. I loved the movie and I'm tempted to buy it. I don't know that i'd really watch the extras on this dvd, though. I mean,... maybe once. But it's not like some of my other dvds that have special features that I actually want to watch again and again. *shrugs*
