Free Ride

Did anyone watch this after American Idol? It wasn't bad, if not a bit disjointed in the story-telling, but it was the first episode. And it had at least one really funny line:

[Overweight lady crashes into father's shopping cart with her Rascal scooter]
"Hey, watch it lady! Why don't you drink a Diet Coke and walk like the rest of us?"

I was refuse to watch any more sitcoms with laugh tracks.

Did it have a laugh track? I don't remember that. It's not performed "before a live studio audience", that's pretty obvious. But I don't remember any canned laughter.

I'd wanted to see this. The setup had potential, and a few gags in the commercials look funny. Plus, I didn't hear a laugh track, so that automatically makes it better than half the sitcoms on TV.
