What about the other two seasons of the show before they changed the title to unlimited? Season 1 comes out this month I believe.

Along with the first season of Batman Beyond, which I'll definitely be purchasing. Should be exciting to see this series unfold for the first time, barring my viewings of RETURN OF THE JOKER.

Such a brilliant show. The first season is the weakest, even though it's great stuff just the same.

These kids need to do a big budget animated movie---now.

I picked up Season 1 recently, and it's a blast of fresh air. The animation and dialogue are gold. I didn't catch the series when it first hit TV, but I think I'm addicted for life...

The only negative in my eyes is the way the DVDs are bundled up using two sleeves instead of four. They should've followed the format they used with the Batman: TAS discs. I don't like the fact that I have to remove the first and third DVDs so I can watch the second and fourth.

Too bad this show is over. John Lassiter should hire these guys, pronto. Since Disney/Pixar needs fresh blood and they might need the jobs.

I'd love to see Timm, Riba, and the gang do another Batman animated series. If it's half as great as the original 1992 series or as good as Batman Beyond, it'll be worth their efforts.

Their show just got cancelled. There is a Batman show on TV right now and a Legion of Superheroes show on its way. At best you might see them make a DVD. But I wouldn't hold your breath for Timm, Riba & co to do anything for WB right now. At least Pixar has a history of adding new talent to the mix without losing any creative edge. Plus, they want to do more 2D stuff. It seems like a perfect fit.

I love the Timmverse! I was blown away how the original Batman series from back in 92 has stood the test of time on DVD (I own Vols 1,2 & 4), and just how much more wicked it got when it went into its next phase during the Volume 4 set. Justice League is probably the best animated program on televison. The continuity is mindboggling (as they constantly dip back to small little things from both the Batman series, as well as the Superman series.)

That being said, I find it mindboggling how WB or Cartoon Network or whoever is REALLY in charge is letting it go. With all the storylines from yesteryear, it's not like they are running out of plots. I never thought I'd be rivited by an episode featuring Green Arrow, Star & S.T.R.I.P.E, Vigilante and the Shining Knight, but Justice League Unlimited had my ass nailed to the couch for the full 30 minutes.

I have never been familiar with the Legion of Superheroes, so my excitement is quite cold, for now. I am a "DC's Holy Trinity" guy. It makes me sad to see that WB is pissing away this quality, while they play Hi Hi PuffyAmi Yumi.

Timm, Riba & Co. joining Pixar is a tantalizing prospect, but it sounds too damn good to happen. It would be a good excuse to put out a Batman animated flick (yeah, I'm a Batman junkie if you hadn't noticed).

it is flying off the shelves where I am but the price was a bit steep for my tastes. i will wait or get it on ebay. definitely not the best season - by far

If season 1 is the weakest of the series, I can't wait to watch the rest. I'm halfway through season 1 right now, and I'm lovin' every minute of it.

Season 1 is by far the weakest. It's got some good points, but overall, it's the least of all the DCAU series.
