Does anyone know when this is hitting DVD? It's getting a bit ridiculous waiting for any information on this sucker. I know it's already released overseas but I don't feel like paying for the shipping...So, anyone heard anything?

Amazon.com says "not yet released" (other websites say May 16) but Amazon.co.uk says March 13.

Yeah, it hits the market over here on Monday, but it's a vanilla disc. I'm holding out for something a little more goodies-packed.

My apologies for creating another thread on this. Didn't realize there already was one.

I wouldn't wait too long, considering two people saw it.

Thedigitalbits.com posted this last month:

"We're still waiting to hear a street date for Shane Black's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, but we've learned that the DVD release will include the Long Shadows Sharp Tongue: A Noir Documentary and a gag reel."

That's something, I guess.

According to my latest order book from my distributor, May 16 is the date.

Grabbed this today along with THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN. Rock \m/

Are you getting any special features on that disc, Charles?

I think the R1 release is going to have a noir doc and some bloopers. But that doesn't arrive until June. By the way, Warner's officially announced it, they just haven't posted it up on Amazon.

No sir, it's a barebones. I guess it would have been nice to have features, but I'm not too bothered to be honest. I just wanted to see the movie.

I also don't think they'll double dip anytime soon. So I'm gonna have to pick this up when it hits stateside.

If they do double dip, it will either be for Blu-ray/HDdvd, which I could give fuck all about, or after a long time when people finally discover it like The Big Lebowski or Office Space and still have shit for extras just like those double dips do.

Wait, there isn't a commentary track?

Double dip.

Screw it, I'm buying it anyway.

I'm confused. A Robert Hood reference? Or what? (And, what has that to do with the amorphous release date discussion?)

So I ordered this last Tuesday from Amazon.Uk and got it toda (quicker service than US Amazon too) and just finished watching it. What a great, great movie this was and I'm sorry to say I missed it in the theaters.

It's a tangential Kiss Kiss Bang Bang reference. Your ambiguous release date compelled me to quote Gay Perry.

Ah. Well, as long as Gay Perry's involved, it's all good.
