Pulled in Canada: Battlestar Galactica: Season 2.0

So I was off to pick up BSG season 2 for a friend who has devoured season one recently, and its no where to be found. What in the fuck happened? I remember it being all over near Christmas, and now its entirely gone.

Fine, its sold out, right? Wrong, apparently. There was a card in one HMV that says it hasnt been released, but will be come May.

So what the hell happened? Did the US get shafted too? whats the story here?

They delayed release because it's currently being or recently was shown on the Space channel. You can order it from Amazon.com or download 'em off bittorrent if you're in a hurry.

I just bought the thing off of Amazon.com (through Chud!). with the CDN dollar at 87 cents, i saved a whole LOT of money, too.

Man, buying dvd's is a whole lot easier in American dollars.

Yeah, we'll probably be doing the same thing in several months when BSG 2.5 comes out early in the States - unless they delay both releases until just before the start of season 3.

Although it's likelier that the "back ten" episodes will comprise the "Season 2.5" release, with a "Complete Second Season" set coming either concurrently (in the next couple-few months), or not long before the third season's October premiere.
