I've heard Phil Donahue has a new show coming on.
Well, it's not really his show. It's a drama starring Embeth Davis (sic??), and he plays her uncle on her mother's side, and last surviving relative.
Her father (Donahue's brother-in-law) dies, and it turns out that he was a member of the American Nazi party but nobody knew it. It's discovered while she's cleaning out his house. It'll be interesting to see Donahue in a dramatic-performance. I think it's a small part.
I think McG also has a new show coming out, about a female long-distance-bicycle-racer named Dee Dee, who is sentenced to prison for a first offense DUI. However, the judge that sentenced her to prison makes a deal to have her released, if she's willing to go undercover in Vietnam to break his son out of a secret POW camp while ostensibly participating in the Golden Triangle 5000 Bike Race. It's going to be called Dee Dee and Mao.
Army of Darkness is playing the Egyptian tonight. It'll be the first movie I've seen in the theater since The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada way back in January. What's become of my movie watching ways.
