Are there any new mid-season tv shows coming up that are worth watching ??

I've heard Phil Donahue has a new show coming on.

Well, it's not really his show. It's a drama starring Embeth Davis (sic??), and he plays her uncle on her mother's side, and last surviving relative.

Her father (Donahue's brother-in-law) dies, and it turns out that he was a member of the American Nazi party but nobody knew it. It's discovered while she's cleaning out his house. It'll be interesting to see Donahue in a dramatic-performance. I think it's a small part.

I think McG also has a new show coming out, about a female long-distance-bicycle-racer named Dee Dee, who is sentenced to prison for a first offense DUI. However, the judge that sentenced her to prison makes a deal to have her released, if she's willing to go undercover in Vietnam to break his son out of a secret POW camp while ostensibly participating in the Golden Triangle 5000 Bike Race. It's going to be called Dee Dee and Mao.

Army of Darkness is playing the Egyptian tonight. It'll be the first movie I've seen in the theater since The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada way back in January. What's become of my movie watching ways.

The Evidence looks like it has potential. Taking Invasion's slot after LOST on Wednesdays.

I agree The Evidence is good and I'm also looking foward to DeeDee and Mao. But I'm anxious to see Pepper Dennis, starting next month on the WB. Rebecca Romijn plays Pepper Dennis, a Chicago news reporter. Her goal is to become the top-rated evening news anchor. Brooke Burns plays her sister. Have you seen Old Christine yet with Julia Louis-Dreyfus?

FOX has UNAN1MOUS (which just from the promos looks ridiculous), THE LOOP and FREE RIDE.

The Evidence got a pretty bad reveiw in my local paper. So, I probably won't be watching it.

I think I'll check out The Evidence- the idea is pretty cool. Although I'll miss Invasion too much.

The most recent shows I heard about are actually two new reality shows coming to TLC - one is called Shalom in the Home and the other is called Honey We're Killing Our Kids. The Shalom one is about a rabbi going to different homes to help families work through their issues. Honey... is about a nutritionist going to houses with heavy kids and helping families stop making their kids fat...we all know that American kids need to take off the lbs.

Anyway, I know it's not along the lines of The Evidence or anything, but both the ideas kind of sound different...
