Chewer Tech Support: MIME attachments

Thread Starter
Tried googling the problem, and I haven't found anything written sufficiently down to me so that I can understand what I need to do. Plus, you guys usually help much better than any other FAQ site I've found.

I'm using Outlook Express. When someone sends a MIME attachment, it reads as code rather than the pictures they want me to see. How can I read the attachment?

Thanks.

Several possible reasons, based on what version of windows you are using, what version of Outlook Express, security updates, etc. Also depends on what the person sending you the message is using (AOHell, Etc.).

Easiest solution? Take yourself out of the mix and switch to using Thunderbird:

Try this:

http://mailformat.dan.info/config/oex.html

Some basic Outlook Express stuff there.

Thunderbird is better though.

I have my RR, Gmail and Hotmail all going there, it's great.
