Advertising during the NCAA tournament.

The tournament started last Thursday, 2 days after the 2nd episode aired. I will not accept that as an answer to my rhetorical question.

The first episode was aired during the first week of the tournament, I thought. At least that's when I saw the first one.

I've only watched two of those shows. I guess America and I disagree on what makes a good t.v show.

In a perfect world "Eve" on UPN would be #1. I guess it will have to settle for being #1 in my heart.

Is there any reason these are being posted?

Whatever the reason, good to see 24 up there.

I posted them for the sake of posting them. No grand reason for them being up here other than to discuss the implications of shows and their audiences.

Tenuous. These Nielsen ratings have time and time again proven to be highly unreliable. The system is flawed, but I can't think of a way to fix it without impeding on people's privacy.

And did that many people watch "The Loop"?

the hell is The Loop?!

TiVo has managed to make the Nielsens even less useful and accurate than they were. The whole paradigm of how success is measured on TV needs to be overhauled.

But I shouldn't talk. I think I'm watching something like four shows now.

Apparently you missed my point. Maybe I should have used quotation marks around that.
