South Park Season 10 - Page 7

Can't wait to see those otters crack open Cartman's skull like a clam.

Man, I'm loving this season. Can't wait for next week's.

"Oh my science!"

Those two sex scenes are going down on my "Funniest moments of 06" list. Classic
post #303 of 343
Ummm...I thought it sucked. A few chuckles here and there. But mostly suck.
Great ep. Right on par with the rest of the season.
I missed the first 10 minutes of the show, so I may be lacking for context, but I really thought the atheist strawman they set up for the sole purpose of having a target was pretty weak. But, the cartman stuff was pretty damn good (and made the same sort of point in a much more effective way). Definitely felt weaker than the last two episodes to me. Still, I'm excited for the war next week.

After re-watching it. The Cartman/Butters stuff was good, untill the Sea Otters showed up. The rest as I said before..sucked.

That and the Buck Rogers was the best part of the show. The Otters were great too. I bet we'll see Cartman killing Otters when he gets back.

The first ten minutes or so were pretty weak. Kinda felt like Parker and Stone were treading familiar ground. But everything from Cartman being frozen onwards was pure gold. Garrison's tits will haunt my nightmares forever.
I really think this might be my new favorite episode.

I honestly haven't seen too much of the new eps, but I just saw the latest one and thought it was great. Maybe because I am jonesing for a Wii myself. The Garrison sex scene was just too much. Hope the conclusion is as good as this one.
That was...not good.

South Park has been extremely disappointing for almost the entirety of this 10th season, which is surprising because I felt that the 8th season was their best ever, and to fall so hard in such a short period of time was disheartening. The only episode that of this season that I have any desire to ever rewatch is the episode from 2 weeks ago that was about Satan's birthday party. I think I laughed once at tonights episode and I can't even remember at what. I don't know if there is any corelation (probably not), but Isaac Hayes' departure from the show has marked a serious drop-off in terms of quality. This season has already made probably the 2 worst episodes of the show ever already (Million Little Fibers and Manbearpig), and I seriously hope it recovers. I do not want it to go the way of The Simpsons.

The only things i found funny was Cartman calling himself an asshole.

This season has sucked because they have ignored what is going on in the news, it seems like these episodes were wrote years ago.

How many eps were there this season? It seems like it just started.
This episode's biggest problem was that it crammed so much story into it. It moved so quickly that it was hard to enjoy. It would have been much better if this had been expanded into two episodes and had this story finish out the season.

I'm a simple person and, as such, found myself cracking up everytime one of the otters made reference to his tummy. And, yes, I'm easily entertained.

The tummy stuff and the K-10/Kit-9/Cocka-3 kept me going the entire time, making the rest worthwhile.
Is this on the YouTubes yet?
No, but it is here.
That was pure awesome! The only disappointment for me was that they concentrated so much on the future that you never really got to see the Dawkins stuff going anywhere. Great ep IMO. And yeah, the Tummy stuff and CockaThree were gold.
My only complaint was that Dr. Theopolis didn't show up.
I too enjoyed when the otters mentioned there tummies.

"Why eat on wood when they have perfectly good tummies."
and
"The stupid French Chinese think they have a right to."
Yes I agree, i loved the episode of South Park with Paris Hilton, does anybody remember they claim they sang about her, something like stupid ... whore

Episode description for what I'm pretty sure is the season finale

Stanley's Cup
Original air Date: 2006-11-15
Stan Marsh has hit rock bottom. He's got no job, no bicycle and his only way out of a bad situation, is to coach the local pee wee hockey team. Once a hotshot pee wee hockey player himself, Stan Marsh has tried to put those days behind him. But he's still living with the memory of how let his team down when he missed the winning shot in the big game. Now, he's about to find out that being a coach means facing your past. He's determined to show his kids what it's like to be a winner!

Hmm, feel-good sports movie parody is well-worn ground for SP (although after 10 years, what isn't?). I'd be a lot more stoked if it read "Randy Marsh has hit rock bottom" rather than "Stan".
I think that entire episode was made just so they could make the Steve Irwin joke.
This episode was pretty much fantastic.

As a Hockey Fan...a Colorado Avalanche fan...and a Red Wing hater....that episode was fantastic. The Red Wing player beating the shit out of Ike was priceless.

Matt and Trey must be huge Avs Fans to say the Wings winning kills kids with cancer.

The game at the end alone makes this my favorite episode of the season.
Oh, and Randy continues to kick major ass.

The game in the middle set to "Song #2" was pretty much my favorite thing they've done all season. From the evil coach's glares while his team is just as inept to the kid waving to his mom, that was pretty much pitch-perfect.
Far different opinion.... as i thought this was the worst episode of South Park every shown on television.

Barely laughed, thought the Steve Irwin jokes were stupid and old, since they already went down that road. Thought the whole cancer part was dumb.

This was the season finale?

Aweful, this season blew.
This episode was pretty bad expect the last two or three mintues of a professional hockey team beating on a midget team.
It was all for the last few minutes.

South Park, i have always said, is one of the most deceptively well-written shows on TV - and has maintained a tone and quality that simpsons, friends and Frasier lost by this time in their lifespans.

However the last 3-4 episodes have really been smuggling shit.....

The two parter was pretty shitty, surprising when you think of the concept, and last episode was a letdown and a half.

It was a good attempt to subvert our expectations of how the story was going to work - but where was Cartman? Where was everyone? It made a nice change - but the show suffered from not having the team there.
The MVPs of this show are Cartman and Butters. Any show that doesn't have either of them is definitely second-tier at best.
There are some really dumb people that post in this thread. One of them apparently thinks that midgets are kindergarden children.

That made me laugh, too.

What I like is that as a die-hard Red Wings fan, i liked the end for different reasons. Just seeing them get mentioned was great, but then watching them beat the shit out of those kids was fantastic.
I really loved this episode. It was pretty much like their other sport-movie ripoffs, in fact I'm kinda surprised they didn't do a montage. But the subversions were excellent, and the kid dying of cancer was priceless.
I thought it was one of the best ones of the season. Yea, they've treaded this territory before but they're so damn good at nailing the little things that it didn't feel stale.

Midget hockey is a level of junior hockey. Know before you insult, and you probably won't.

I had a full hallucination of the More You Know star floating over Gob's head after reading that post.
Can anybody tell the title of the episode where Kenny is in Heaven and has to stop the forces of Hell from taking it over? There's this huge, climactic battle at the end and Kenny is using a PS2 or something to control Heaven's forces and they don't show any of it. I can't remember the name and I've been trying to find on it IMDb and such.
Tvtome has the title for that one listed as "Best Friends Forever."

God Bless you Moltisanti!
