As long as it doesn't have sharp moving parts, it's sexy.

Tongue rings imply a love of blowjobs, so be aware of what you're projecting.

edit: I should say that tongue rings don't make you anything as much as they multiply your existing looks.

I'm sure girls love it too. It's only a 'blowjob' connotation because most of the world is straight, and most people with tongue rings are girls. If macho guys were the ones who wore them most, there would be a much different perception.

I think the best way to be percieved is as someone who can express oneself well. Judging by the impulsive, personal nature of this piercing, it sounds like you're doing just that.

Don't worry about it, if you get bored with your stud it can be removed within seconds. What we douches think doesn't matter.

Dangerous. The missus regularly used to get patients in who'd lost sensation in their tongues after botched piercings - sometimes permanently. There's a lot of stuff in your tongue that doesn't react well to a steel pin being shoved through it.
