Yeah, I was really surprised when I saw a commercial for this. Really excited. City of God is one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Thanks Devin, Its been a while since I heard the news from AICN that they were even making a spin off. Do you know if they plan to make more than just the 14, or its just that?

I imported this on DVD about 8 months ago from the UK. I haven't watched all of the episodes yet, but the 2 I did see were pretty much awesome. Same style of the film, just great stuff.

Finally bought this on DVD. One disc down, two to go, and I love the hell out of it. The back of the box describes it as "The Wonder Years. With guns." And I think that's fairly accurate.

I enjoyed the show quite a bit on DVD, but I still remember it being tainted for my friends when they walked in and saw the intro and I had to explain it to them.
