I confuse Jeff Bridges and Jeff Daniels. It's not so much that they look alike per se, but for some reason I always call them by the opposite person's name.

I do the same thing. They also have very similar voices, which adds to the confusion. And when they're both bearded, well, I couldn't tell them apart if they were standing there with their birth certificates.

I used to get the Jeff's confused too until one guy got famous for explosive diarrhea and the other got famous for walking around in a bathrobe.

i cant tell the difference between Ed Burns and Paul Rudd
post #55 of 814
Lou Diamond Phillips and Don "The Dragon" Wilson

Jason Statham and Jeremy Piven

Abe Vigoda and Boris Karloff

Tobin Bell and Brion James

CCH Pounder and Delroy Lindo

also there was an actor in episodes 4-6 or thereabouts of the current season of 24 who looks EXACTLY like Viggo Mortensen (the dock worker who was really working for yellow tie guy)... he has replaced Babylon 5's Bruce Willis looking dude as top no-name movie star dead ringer.

I know they're different genders, but I think Angelina Jolie and Michael Keaton look alike.

That statement had about the same effect on me as if you would have said that Natalie Portman and Ernest Borgnine look alike.

Joaquin Phoenix and what's-his-name-pretty-boy from "Match Point" seem pretty close to me.

For some reason i couldnt tell the difference between Kevin Spacey and John Cusack for a very long time. No I'm over it, but they were like the same person to a few yrs ago

I agree, if you took a 2 by 4 and hit Thomas Jane over the forehead he would then become Christopher Lambert.

The Carlos Mencia guy who has an add for his show on comedy central every thirty seconds strikes me as a hispanic Joe Rogan.

That's a joke, right? If not, visit Joe Rogan's website and read all the warm and fuzzy feelings he has for Mencia.

The Tambor look-a-like I'm referring to is the judge in Common's 'Testify' video. If anyone could help me put a name to that face I would pray for them to find a dollar.

Felt the same way. Until yeah, I saw Thursday. It helped a lot.

Balmudo, I was actually being serious and unaware of Mencia or should I say "Ned Holness" being a hack and Rogan calling him out. Of course I've never actually seen an episode of Mind of Holness so I would be clueless anyway. THere was some pretty entertaining stuff on Rogan's website, I didn't know that Dennis Leary hacked material from Bill Hicks either. The story about the guy who didn't know his girlfriend was a hard core porn star was pretty funny too, ass, mouth, ass, mouth, I was gonna tell you. If you have any other website recommendations like that let me know.

Oh wait, I know how to win the thread:

Annie Potts=Carol Kane=Bernadette Peters

I always used to get the two Parker ladies mixed up: Mary-Louise and Molly. Quick tip: Molly is the paler one.

This is an odd one, but keep with me.

Go and watch THE EXORCIST III, paying particular attention to Brad Dourif's scenes. It's like watching Insane Jim Carrey. I think it's all in the slight sneer and jutting jaw. There's nothing in each guy's current work to support it-mainly because Dourif's like fifteen years older than Carrey-but damn, in the 80s the guy looked like a demonically-possessed Truman Burbank.

Am I the only one who thinks George Clooney in GOODNIGHT AND GOODLUCK looks exactly like Donald Rumsfeld?

And Josh Duhamel from the show LAS VEGAS is the splitting image of Timothy Olyphant. And he's tapping Fergie from black eyed peas. fucker.

Alright, Chewers, in this "Permanently Sneering Sneer-Off Smackdown", who's the sneer-iest?

I was watching Four Brothers last night and Josh Charles reminded me of Liev Schrieber. Although they don't look too much alike now that I compare their photos.

Is there any particular reason why you had to use THE BIGGEST GODDAMN PICTURE OF ANGELINA JOLIE ON THE INTERNET to prove your point?

The most evident and obvious one to me has always been Christian Slater and Stephen Dorff. Heck there was a period in the 90s were I could not believe how Dorff kept choosing Slater psycho-like roles it was like his agent was doing pretty much that: picking up rejected Christian Slater scripts.

I got a good one: Hugh Laurie from "House" and Michael McDonald from Mad tv (not to be confused with the cheesball soul singer in recent credit card commercials).

http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/...Laurie,%20Hugh

everytime I see that House show I think I'm watching a really serious bit on mad tv.

Temos, how in the hell did you find a picture of Kelly LeBrock taking a dump in her bathtub?

Anyway, I have always seemed to get Henry Thomas and Jeremy Davies mixed up.

Every time I see either Benicio or Terrence Howard on-screen, I'm always struck by how much they look/sound alike.

And I'm convinced that Sean Faris (Reunion, Life As We Know It) is the result of some Scientological experiment in cloning Tom Cruise. I think this gets pointed out in pretty much everything he appears in, too.

the Peter Horton / Steven Webber is a really good one. They both go for a look I would describe as an adventurous lion.

Howard and Del Toro, I don't see much there myself, Benicio will always be the Spanish Pitt in my book. Check this out......

Ewan Mcgregor and Jude Law.

They aren't identical twins or anything but I've heard them get confused before.

When I was an ignorant whelp, I thought that Don "the Dragon" Wilson & Mark Dacascos were the same guy... boy was I wrong.
Thread Starter
that's not bad, but Mark Dacascocacos is more like the reincarnate of Brandon Lee or actually, much like how I say Benicio del Toro is the Spanish Pitt I might have to say Dacascos could be the Asian Depp!

I would really like to see a movie where the duo of Pitt and Depp is teamed up against the duo of Del Toro and Dacascos. While I'm coming up with goldmines like this your average producer is deciding who to cast in a movie remake of Full House.

For Don the Dragon the classic call is LDP.
