Coca Cola Blak

Anyone try this cola/coffee hybrid drink yet? The flavor is predictably like regular Coke or C2 (since it has both corn syrup and artificial sweeteners) blended with a mild coffee (thankfully no cream) taste. The combination of flavors blend well. It smells like it tastes which is good for not confounding expectations, and the aftertaste is not too bitter either.

I can tell you the caffeine part works well. For some reason I've been tired all day. I'm not even halfway done with my drink and I've picked up. (Now maybe I can be more productive...)

I haven't tried it, but if it does taste good, it's gonna be pretty huge. Energy drinks are normally crap and the ones which taste decent are loaded with sugar. Being as low in calories as it is, it'll be a lot more acceptable.

Yeah, this could be popular with the bars.

You haven't tried the right ones. Monster Lo-Carb is pretty damn tasty, is filled with nutrients, and is a good value to boot.

Hey mods, I spelled the name correctly. There's no C in "Blak"

tsk tsk...

I haven't tried Monster, just because the packaging is so bad. I couldn't believe a decent drink could be found in something that looked like it had 10 minutes of time put into the design. I'll take your word for it and give it a taste.

Yay! Slater's being funny again!

That wasn't sarcastic. I'm serious. That was funny. Go on, you try and do better.

I'm not a huge coffee fan but I may give this drink a shot, particularly on those long nights at work. I've recently been drinking more Coke products, particularly Cherry Coke. I can't drink too many dark drinks, though. They tend to make me sick to my stomach faster than say something like Sprite or Mountain Dew.

Full Throttle's not bad either, but its loaded with high fructose corn syrup. Fuk that shit.

Haven't touched any of the stuff that's in the metal cans. Including Red Bull.

I know.

The new TAB energy drink is pretty good. Kind of tastes like Cherry 7UP, but it only has 10 calories per serving. It's marketed towards women, but I like it.

Maybe I'm a woman! Never thought of that.

They deliberately misspelled "Black"? I'd like to kick the sales exec who thought that one up.

And marketable!!

Attitude with an edge; the kids will LOVE it!

Isn't caffeine always listed seperately?
Not always. I'm looking at a can of my particular poison right now, and Mello Yello, no slouch in the wake-up juice department, does not.

My girlfriend is allergic (for lack of a better word; it can cause heart failure in her) to caffeine, so I have to be on the lookout for it when shopping. However, finding "caffeine" listed in the ingredients is more of a chore than simply keeping an eye out for "Caffeine Free"-branded soft drinks.

Or, y'know, I'll just buy juice.
