Alex's review is up!

I just got my copy yesterday. I can't wait to devour it this week. It just goes to prove that Christopher Golden is a solid genre writer. If you haven't read The Shadow Saga series... DO SO.

OK I just finished this... BLOODSTAINED OZ is one twisted mind-fuck take on the whole Oz story. Golden and Moore have taken this tale that has become part of the American mythology, a tale that was never as safe as we remembered it to be, and completely taken it in a horrific direction.

There are so many things I want to talk about with this tale... But I don't want to spoil it. READ IT! Read it so we can discuss it.

Holy crap!

On a side note... I almost felt that Garton's intro should have been written as an afterward. It would have solidified for the reader by then.

I had a hard time writing this review cause I didn't want to give too much away- but it is just a really fucked up horror story. Really good stuff. I have to read more of Christopher Golden and James A. Moore's stuff- Greg, what's the first book in the Shadow Saga series? I'd like to check it out.
