I figured I'd help this thread come back from the grave.

46. Mombasa Suite, Halo 2 Vol. 2, Marty O'Donnell

Starts off with a seemingly calm strings section, then turns into an awesome guitar piece. The last couple of parts of the song are some percussion based "going to war" type music. Just a great combo.

I love this song. It makes me so happy. As a kid, I was so overjoyed whenever I got to the level that featured it. Game Boy has some pretty amazing music for such a primitive system.

Cannot like these enough.  The Sega CD had its issues, and they rarely took advantage of the tech to advance gameplay, but goddamn such badass soundtracks came out of that system. Terminator CD could end this list right here and now, by itself.

Matter of fact, you know what?

90. Eternal Champions CD, Washington DC (Senator's Theme)

91. Terminator CD, Destinations Unknown, Tommy Tallarico
