Hahahahahahahahahahaha fuck Detroit.

i hate to see stevie y go out like that but the more then likely battle of alberta matchup in round 2 should be some great hockey

;_;

I'm a fan, but haven't payed attention this year. Call me disinterested because of the strike, but it does bum me out that they got punked so early.

Hey Matt, how far did the Blues get in the playoffs, anyway?

Die hard.

Fuck the Blues.
I care, only because I had about five Wings in the hockey pool.

I had four Dallas Stars too; guess who's going to finish in last place?

Oilers fan living in Edmonton here, and I'll tell ya, the city is fucking nuts right now.

I'll see you in hell Red Wings.
Possible Oilers-Flames? God loves Alberta.

Detroit was fun to watch during the regular season, but they got off easy playing Columbus and the Blues eight times each.

If Anaheim somehow pulls it out, none of the Western top seeds will have made it. Parity has never really been an issue in the NHL, but that would have to make Bettman happy.

Oh man, I didn't even think about Edmonton Vs Calgary. That would be pouring nitroglycerin on the fire.

If the odds play out, it will happen.

Hockey will be forgiven for the lockout, and I'm a Leafs fan.

Oh, we suck, no other word will do. When the owner guts your team in some ill-concieved attempt to make it somehow a more attractive purchase, you're gonna suck. Really, really hard. All of the other problems the Blues have pale in comparison to how they got humped because Bill Laurie never got his precious basketball team.

We might have finished dead last, but Detoilet ain't hoisting the cup. Schadenfraude rocks.

P.S. I want to visit Detroit and piss on Joe Louis Arena.

Blame the Wing's goalie, because we all are.

Oh well. We still got the Pistons.
This and the majority of the Dallas team mastubating on the bench while dreaming of golfing made my playoff pool all the more miserable. I gave the cup to Detroit.....

Silly man, you should listen to Mr. Cherry. He calls for Ottawa to win against Calgary in the finals, and it's looking to shape up that way. It'll kill me to watch Edmonton lose to Calgary in the Western semifinals, but after that I'll be happy to cheer for Calgary against Ottawa.

Well, the important thing was to keep the cup out of - ugh - Florida. My only regret is that St. Louis walked away from that series. I was hoping to see him driven into the ground like a little tent stake before his team was eliminated.

Prior to the beginning of the playoffs, the Wings hadn't played a meaningful game in a month. The Oilers had been forced to play with playoff intensity practically up until the regular season ended.

Also, Manny sucks.

Listen to Don Cherry ? I actually did a couple of time over the years. He says stuff that make George W. Bush look like a Philosophy Nobel Prize winner. So I'll just ignore the retard, whatever prediction he makes...

If anyone can beat Ottawa, it's Buffalo. That might be the surprise of these playoffs.

I'm stealing your quote. I was at the Flyers game tonight. %(*#%$(*#$(*@#&$)(#@&%)*#&%)(#*&(*#&%)(*#&)(#.

Well, 120 years and still only 9 championships, none since '83 for Philly. This sucks.

As predicted, Montreal got smacked. The only single shining spot in this playoff is Cristobal Huet, who's pretty solid.

When I think of it, he's one of the few French who's not running away while being shot at...

Maybe. But he knows the sport.

Usually. Last night's Flames game was a bore. It was a boring defeat, and had they won it would've been a boring victory, but boring nonetheless. I see a lot of Flames flags at half-mast today.

I'm okay with the Flames losing, I'm not a big Calgary fan anyway. But to lose to a team called the Mighty Ducks is just ridiculous.

The surprise of these playoffs has come and gone. Go Oilers.

The battle for Alberta would've been lame anyways.

Quiet, you.

Calgary sucks, and that's just a well known fact.
